Before the Sun Sets

Before the Sun Sets is one of the first TV shows to have been developed inside Main Street Life, a multi purpose creative development.

Before the Sun Sets is one of the first TV shows to have been developed inside Main Street Life, a multi purpose creative development situated on the east side of Johannesburg city. Although only finished by June, the building has quickly become one of the most important residential buildings in the city.

The series is an example of how those living inside the building can produce and exhibit their work, a vision laid out by property development company Propertuity from the beginning. Before the Sun Sets was developed by creative project collaboration agency Red Team Go, the same agency responsible for the unique marketing of the building. All work produced will first be displayed on www.mainstreetlife.tv the building’s very own online media channel, an outlet created by Red Team Go.

Before the Sun Sets sees musicians come up and perform one song on the roof of the Main Street Life as the sun sets over the city behind them. The first performer in the series is Cape Town based singer and songwriter Gary Thomas. Although now operating solo, Thomas first hit the scene as one half of acoustic duo Cabins in the Forrest. Find out more about the building at www.mainstreetlife.tv and www.redteamgo.com to see other work by the collaboration agency Red Team Go
